We are going to meet by the Forestarìa farm on the northen hills of Lucca. We will start the cooking class with a glass of local wine :-) In the kitchen of our farmhouse, we will cook together authentic&traditional tuscan recepies. Later, you will enjoy the dinner in our garden with a beautiful sunset! Other things to note Our cooking class is an experience that combines traditional&authentic recepies, organic vegetables&fruits from our garden and lot of smiles&laughs...under the magical tuscan sun!

We will discover Lucca through the five senses, by walking along the main attractions of the town: the ring walls, the Cathedral, the Amphitheatre square and many other places, but we will also stroll through hidden corners and less touristy medieval alleys. In this way we will let people enjoy both, the must-see and the unknown side of town. Our adventure will be experienced through the sense of sight, by admiring the outstanding architecture, the gorgeous nature and the energetic lifestyle of Lucca and through the sense of sound, by getting to know the interesting history of the town, the elegant art and the deep tradition of music with its important musicians who were born here. Our walk will continue by using the other three senses of taste, smell and touch: we are going to stop in a few local shops savouring our food specialties and traditional gastronomy. We will start with a sweet introduction during our breakfast moment and we will end with a savoury antipasto served with a local glass of wine just before lunch time. Salute! Cheers! During the tasting, we will try to help you understand how we work and share the history of our farm. Other things to note: Stay healty is in this moment the most important thing, be sure that we will do our best to sanify all area , please communicate intolerances and vegetarian people when the reservation is made we do prepare all food appositly for your group. We don't provide any kind of transport. To reach the farm the best option is by car, taxi or driver. For the bravest it's possible by bike.

In fact we believe to deserve things SIMPLE & GOOD, like the homemade food done with love and passion; from our TRADITIONS, because we love our land, its products, its excellence; of the BEST QUALITY, all ingredients are from our land or from selected farms of our territory. You will enjoy the dinner alfresco, among our olive trees with the sparking light of lanterns and candles to make your dinner a romantic and unforgettable experience. You will be involved in a hands-on lesson. Cooking with me you will create your special tuscan meal. We'll prepare a complete menu including appetizers, home made pasta, main course, side dish and dessert. We will cook together in my typical Tuscan house, however the location may change. The alternatives may be some local farms that produce wine and olive oil in our land. In any case I will communicate you any change! We will explore our Sangiovese, Colorino, Trebbiano vineyards and all the native Tuscan vines that we grow every day with passion. We will walk until we arrive in our olive grove where every year we produce our extra virgin olive oil. Then we will walk through our cellar to understand all the details of the winemaking, aging, bottling and labeling process of all our production. After the first part of the visit, the most beautiful part will start: the tasting of our wines and our extra virgin olive oil. The wine tasting will be combined with our extra virgin olive oil made only with Tuscan cultivars and with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses typical of our territory. We will start with fresh white and rosé wines, continuing with the daily reds and concluding with our line of native Tuscan single grape varieties (Sangiovese, Black Malvasia, Colorino)in total 6 wines. Different types of labels to fully express the style and character of our reality. We are in a strategic position between Florence, Pisa, Lucca, so we advise you to plan your holiday by including us in your plans… you won't regret it! The experience starts with a 15/20 minute tour of our cellar in the hills of Lucca. Guests will be guided through the production stages and explained the procedure of our wine preparation. Depending on the time of year, you may even see our creation process in action! Afterwards, the real fun begins:D Guests will be accommodated on the terrace where they can taste our wines and olive oil (all included in the cost of the experience). Throughout your tasting, we will explain the organoleptic characteristics of the various wines and answer any questions you may have. The duration of the entire experience is around 1.5 hours. Vi mostreremo l'attività del tartufaio in compagnia di un cane davvero speciale di nome Turbo!! Saranno descritti gli ambienti e la vita del tartufo, il lavoro del cane e il ruolo del tartufaio. Dopo la lezione inizieremo la caccia del tartufo, vi accompagneremo nelle tartufaie naturali e al rientro seguirà una degustazione. A richiesta è possibile una cena completa. Sarà descritta la cucina del tartufo e come si compone un piatto. Un vero reality da vivere insieme sia in tartufaia che in cucina. Immergiti nell'affascinante mondo delle api! Raggiungici nel nostro agriturismo dove produciamo miele da più di vent'anni. Insieme parleremo della vita all'interno dell'alveare, vedremo da vicino com'è fatta un'arnia (la casina delle api) e come fanno a raccogliere il miele. Faremo anche una degustazione di mieli di nostra produzione insieme a del buon formaggio locale e un bicchiere di succo di mela (sempre di produzione locale). La visita si svolge all'aperto in prossimità dell'apiario, ma sempre a debita distanza per rispettare l'ambiente delle api. Il tutto accompagnato da una bellissima vista sulla valle e sul borgo di Barga (uno dei più belli d'Italia). Imparerete un sacco di segreti sulle api e sull'apicoltura. Vedrete da vicino gli strumenti usati dall'apicoltore per estrarre il miele e portarlo sulle nostre tavole rispettando questi insetti tanto preziosi per la nostra sopravvivenza. La visita sarà guidata da Francesca, o da sua figlia Vittoria, entrambe apicoltrici ed amanti della natura. Sia in lingua italiana che lingua inglese. Viaggio da Lucca a Pisa alla scoperta di Castelli , panorami e tracce della presenza Romana fino alla torre piu' famosa al mondo.Dopo aver noleggiato la bici (NON COMPRESA NEL COSTO DELL'ESCURSIONE) partiamo da porta S.Maria a Lucca e attraverso piste ciclabili e campagna arriviamo al castello di Nozzano ,di cui si hanno notizie sin dal IX secolo, eretto per difendersi dalla attacco dei rivali Pisani. Dopo circa 7km e fatta una leggera salita possiamo godere del panorama del lago di Massaciuccoli con lo sfondo del mar Tirreno. In fondo alla discesa ci fermiamo alla “Massaciuccoli romana” che si divide in due complessi principali: in alto sulla collina i resti monumentali della villa dell'otium con le terme; in basso coperto da strutture in vetro i resti della “Villa” .Dopo che ci siamo ristorati ci avviamo verso il clou dell'escursione ,la torre di Pisa e la Piazza dei Miracoli. A mano a mano che ci avviciniamo la vediamo in distanza ma soltanto quando varchiamo Porta Nuova sul lato ovest possiamo godere della vista della Cattedrale, il Battistero, il Campo Santo e la Torre. Fatte le foto di rito e dopo aver pedalato per 30 km il nostro tour in bicicletta e' finito. Per tornare a Lucca prendiamo il Treno (BIGLIETTO NON COMPRESO NEL COSTO DELL'ESCURSIONE) o in 1 ora torniamo a Lucca in bicicletta (25 KM).

Cycling is the most sustainable way to discover Lucca and to reach hidden corners off the beaten path. This tour will be a real adventure because it will let people really get to know the town. We will ride on the top of the walls, we will learn about the history of their construction, the green side of this amazing little city and we will enter then into secret passages and places which are usually unknown to visitors. In addition to that, the tour will explore the historic centre by reaching the less touristy districts so essential to grasp the real Lucca. The highlight of the trip will come when we rest at our favourite delicious local food stops. Every product respects the territory and the gastronomy culture which is very important in Tuscany. Don’t’ miss this experience because we will explain the town through its history, art, nature, food by keeping ourselves fit and respecting the environment. In colder months our tour will be run in the morning for better light and temperature reasons and we will replace the gelato with a coffee and cake. There can be some changes for stops due to low season different times.

You will be guided initially through our main crops, where the production cycle of the vineyard, the olive grove and the kiwis will be explained. Continuing then towards the ancient mill in the property of the farm, which combines tradition and modern machinery, the process of mechanical cold pressing will be explained in each step. Finally, the tour ends in our garden, where you can sit comfortably to taste our organic products and where it will be shown how a professional tasting of extra virgin olive oil is made. The entire tour aims not only at the chance to live an experience in total relaxation, to taste genuine products and to be in contact with people who love their craft, but also to convey concepts concerning production and oil culture. At the end of the path you will be able to know how to recognize a high quality oil, through the aromas and flavors, the correct reading of the label and the notions concerning the entire production process.

I offer a 2-hour small group guided walking tour of the city of Pisa in English, exploring the major attractions but also getting to see some of the sites that are off the beaten track and popular with locals. My walking tour will introduce you to the real City of Pisa – right up to and beyond the iconic Leaning Tower. The itineary is absolutely easy going and the walking is always at a leisurely pace. A unique way to enjoy this unpretentious university city where you have the opportunity to learn about history and monuments but also get familiar with the life of a small and lively Medieval Tuscan town.
