Spend more time in the water snorkeling as we aboard our 26 ft Mediterranean Line boat and glide across the sea in search of our snorkeling site. I will select the best site of the day taking into account the ocean conditions! Upon arriving at our snorkeling site I will go over ocean safety, equipment and answer any questions you might have as we get into the water. We'll spend most of our time in the water searching for the unique Hawaiian marine life! Turtles, rays, eels, dolphins, and tropical fish are some of the local residents we may meet! Afterwards we will return to our boat for some local refreshments as we learn about the wildlife that we saw during our time in the ocean and the local legends of the area! No two trips are the same! We visit a different site and encounter different marine life each trip! -------- This is an intimate and educational experience that has a maximum group size of 6 guests. First time snorkelers and non-swimmers alike are welcome! (7:30am start time recommended) Each guest is required to sign a Release of Liability prior to participation. Every parrot has a story. You’ll learn all about our rainbow-colored rescues in Kona’s only parrot sanctuary. We’ll start with our mission: to give every displaced parrot a nutritious diet, large space to fly, and a safe place to interact with other parrots (and people). Next, we'll take a walk around the sanctuary, where you can get to know the range of personalities of cockatoos, lovebirds, macaws, and more species. Throughout the tour, you will have many photo opportunities, especially with our well-trained parrots. Other things to note: Wear casual clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and bring a camera. Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is also home to two rescue dogs, two Holstein cows and two sulcata tortoise. While we like to keep our group sizes small to enhance a personal experience, we are open to hosting larger family/friend groups with more than six individuals.

Aloha and Welcome as we gather around the information table at Sharkey's 100-year old farmhouse in the historic plantation village of Papaikou. Sample our freshly brewed 100% Hawaiian coffee or cacao tea, grown right here on the farm. From there we begin an easy walk through our orchards where you'll learn about Hawaiian coffee growth and production. Interwoven the coffee are rows of cacao trees. Depending on the time of year, you can usually see tiny flowers and large, multi-colored pods hanging from trunks and branches. Long, heavy vanilla vines grow up the cacao trees, nature's perfect trellis! We'll show you how each vanilla orchid is delicately hand-pollinated to produce long "hands" of vanilla beans. We'll then proceed to the "Slab" where the pods are 'cracked' before the fermentation process. Next we move into the greenhouse where flats of newly planted seedlings just beginning their journey grow alongside large screens filled with coffee and cacao beans slowly drying to perfection. Avoid the crowds and enjoy comfortable seating for only 20 passengers or less with spectacular views of Hawaii’s humpback whales! The Humpback Whale returns to the warm Hawaiian waters every year during the winter months of December through April for their mating and calving season. Although whales are protected in Hawaii and we do not approach them closer than federal regulations, they often approach our small boats for those up close and eye level whale encounters. We are excited to teach you you how to create your own unique lei po'o (flower crown). You will choose your own tropical flowers and create a unique and beautiful custom piece made with fresh flowers. All of our flowers are locally sourced from local gardens and we support local farmers. We also provide high quality local store bought flowers such as torch ginger, cymbidium orchids, anthuriums, etc. Our workshop is high end because we use high end flowers and natural materials sourced from Polynesia (Lauhala leaves from Tahiti). Your leis will last 3-4 days and will enrich your Hawaii experience tenfold. While making your lei, I will share the cultural meanings of our leis and why we wear them in Hawai'i. I am born and raised in Laie, Hawaii and have lived here for 27 years. I am passionate about my culture and I would love to share it with you. A day adventuring in beautiful Iao Valley. I will guide you into the historic Valley, exploring the beautiful lush forest and the clear Iao stream. We will hike past the guided paths and go safely wandering up the stream bed. Touching the local flora and fauna we will experience what it’s like to be deep in the valley with its steep cliffs and photographic vistas. Finding our way upstream we will end at a place where we can swim and enjoy the currents of the stream. Enjoy a snack and rest in the sounds of nature. This three hour tour will be one to remember with beautiful photos of Maui’s spectacular nature and you. Time of day is flexible. Please inquire if you would like a different time. We will reach you difference between Hawaiian Food and Hawaiian Style foods. This private & personal tour ( no more than 4 people) will begin at a local grocery store to sample some of the best poke and spam Musubi in the world. Whenever we travel we always look for the local grocery stores because that's where you will find the best foods and the locals. Then we head to Kalihi for a Manapua tasting and taro chip factory. We then sit for a authentic Hawaiian food lunch and learn the history and how it's made. For the finale we head to a popular bakery and learn how Portugal influenced Hawaii with bread and other great pastries. Tour NOT suited for vegans or vegetarians

We meet at the Kauai Inn and I explain the instruments (drums) we're going to play. We start with simple beats and practice as long as everybody gets it. No worries if you never have been drumming before in your life. I also explain what the drums stand for in the community and how they were used in ancient Hawaii. After one hour of drumming, we start practicing the firedancing. The boys with the samoan fireknife and the girls with the mauri poiballs. We practice without fire for a while and who ever wants to light it on fire, is very welcome to try it (no worries I'll help you). You can take nice pictures and videos while performing with fire. Other things to note And again, if you are beginners, never drum or played with fire in your entire life, don't worry, in my class are all levels of drummer and firedancer from 5 years to 70 years old!

He is the Native Hawaiian patriarch of our family. Enter an ancient volcano on Hawaiian Homestead & learn Hawaiian agriculture & history. Help shape & tend this family-owned organic chocolate farm of exotic trees, flowers, miniature horses, pygmy goats, & silky chicks. The farm always needs tending, from pulling weeds to planting, watering plants, trimming trees, cleaning stalls and washing water buckets. Give back to the land as you do something totally unique! You will need transportation as Lyft and Uber do not always come or pick up from here, and they charge a lot if they do. Buses are not always reliable, and biking is impossible as the roads to our farm are too narrow. Our family farm is located in a Rainforest, and we work rain or shine as it is still warm & comfortable. Please wear beach shoes & old clothes, even beachwear is fine. There are outdoor restrooms where you can wash up when the work is done. You will work at your own pace and can rest or take shade as you need. The fee we charge is also a commitment to our time, as you will learn some history of Hawaiian lands, agriculture, and plants; plus, we provide sunblock, mosquito spray, gloves, and hats to wear as you work.

Not only is it unique, but it is not touristy, is off the beaten path, and rare to find. A true adventure! We will hike about an hour (each way) at sunrise along lava fields to visit an ancient lava tube, the Hakuma Horst, native Hawaiians used for shelter and protection. The lava tube itself, although small, is FULL of geological gold! If only these walls could talk. They would speak of battle, of burials, of prayer….. The cave entrance is narrow and the end leads to a beautiful coastal view! Those with claustrophobia should not join. We will be hiking on uneven ground. We also will be in TIGHT spaces and have to crawl shortly for a bit. People should be in very good physical condition in order to hike this safely. Upon your arrival to Oahu, you'll begin to see how surfing is Hawaiian culture. As you get into Waikiki, everywhere you look you will see surfboards...... It is now time to embrace your surroundings and let us show you the Hawaiian way. We will begin by introducing the details of the surfboard. Then discuss the fundamentals including positioning on board, etiquette, paddling, how & when to stand up, & what to do once you are on the wave. We will discuss ocean safety, awareness and safety. Once the land training is done, we will walk right across the street and enter the water, don't worry about carrying any surfboards, we have a cart for that. Once we are in the water we will guide you to the best spot to position yourself to catch waves. We will be by your side and provide the extra push to get on the wave. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or intermediate surfer, we can help all levels advance your skills on a surfboard and teach you about the area you are surfing in. After the lesson we will go back to the shop, have the barista whip us up a drink from our coffee bar, relax, and chat. Snorkeling in a whole new way that makes it easier and more fun. Come jet scooter snorkel through the crystal clear waters of Hawaii on this adventure snorkeling tour. Anyone can do this tour as it is for beginners also. I will take you to one of the best snorkeling sites on Oahu to see sea turtles, tons of fish, sea life and dolphins. We will be using our jet propelled underwater scooter devices to create a fun and unique snorkeling experience, unlike any other! This tour will begin with a complimentary pickup from Waikiki at 2412 Koa ave, and a scenic drive to our snorkeling site approx. 30 mins depending which dive site we will be heading too. Dive site choice is dependent on conditions.If you are staying outside of Waikiki, please look at Kahe Point Beach Park on maps, it may be closer for you to meet us there. Please let me know if you choose to do that. Once we arrive, we will go through a safety briefing and jet snorkeling orientation to get you started on this fun filled tour. We accept all skill levels including first timers! Once in the water, we will practice using the Jet devices and begin our snorkeling tour. Majority of the time we will see sea turtles, beautiful corals and lots of beautiful fish. We see dolphins on almost every trip but every once in a while we don't see them so we can not guarantee you will see a dolphin but there is a high probability.
